What are the requirements for the base and cladding materials of titanium composite plate tanks?

I. Base steel plate
The base material of titanium composite plate tanks must meet the requirements of GB150. When purchasing equipment or composite panels, the base material of titanium composite panels must meet the requirements of the ASME standard.
2. The entire carbon steel and carbon-manganese steel plates must be supplied in normalized condition.
3. When there are specific requirements for the base steel plate, they should also be met.
4. The overall base material must undergo sandblasting treatment and should be flat without surface defects such as depressions and scratches that affect adhesion. The unevenness of the base material should meet the requirements of relevant standards.
5. The base plate of the titanium composite plate tank shall not be welded together. The base plate shall be tested by acoustic wave test piece by piece in accordance with JB/T4730, Ш class qualified. When purchasing equipment or composite panels from abroad, each base panel should undergo acoustic wave testing in accordance with ASTM A578 and be qualified for Class C.
6. It is necessary to prevent the base plate from delaminating or cracking during the lamination process, equipment manufacturing process and service process.

II. Coated titanium plate
Unless written consent is obtained or otherwise specified, the cladding material of titanium composite plate tanks must meet the requirements of TA0 or TA1 in GB/T3621. 1. When purchasing equipment or composite panels, the cladding material of titanium-steel composite panels must meet the requirements of ASTM B265 Grade 1.
2. When there are specific requirements for laminated steel plates, they should also be met.
3. After cutting and forming, the minimum thickness of the coating for the titanium composite plate tank composite plate used for the cylinder and the head shall not be less than 2.0mm, and the minimum thickness of the coating for the titanium steel composite plate used for the tube plate shall not be less than 8.0mm. Among them, the flange sealing surface after processing.
4. The coating of the composite plate should be made of a single piece of titanium plate as much as possible. When used for larger-sized composite plates, if two or more titanium plates are spliced from an economic or mechanical processing perspective, prior written consent must be obtained and the requirements of the annex to this regulation should be met.
